Volunteering at the Museum

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum welcomes motivated and enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in learning and sharing knowledge in not only the history of the Auburn Automobile Company and cars, but also other aspects that would enhance our visitor's experience at the museum.

Volunteer opportunities are available for adults and teenagers in many departments, regardless of the amount of time you can donate to the museum. Volunteer opportunites include areas such as admissions, education, membership, research, guided tours, gift shop, special events and many administrative duties. Docents guide a wide range of groups, such as school tours, car clubs, senior groups, travel groups and company event programs.

Comprehensive training will teach volunteers and docents about the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, and the personal way we treat our visitors. Training for docents is scheduled both as a group and individually.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum accepts applications for volunteers at anytime throughout the year. Volunteers have the chance to learn skills that will enhance both their personal and professional lives. Many social events are included in the schedule of volunteers, by way of monthly meetings, and tours of other area attractions.

Please contact Lindsay Wharton at (260) 925-1444 ext 39 or info@automobilemuseum.org for further information on becoming an Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum Volunteer. Come, join us!
