Museum Collections

The collection of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum begins with the building.  The former Auburn Automobile Company national headquarters building is the museum's most treasured artifact.  After the building, its collection focus is comprised of three major areas, the automobile collection, the small artifact collection and the archives collection. Each component is honed to support the Museum’s Mission and Vision.  The automobile collection consists of approximately 150 vehicles, 125 of which are exhibited at any one time. The small artifact collection is comprised of several hundred items that are relevant to telling the story. The archival collection contains approximately 25,000 original photographs, blueprints, advertising pieces and books that enhance both the research and exhibit activities of the Museum.
