The six main automobile galleries each reflect a portion of the automobile collection. Each gallery has its own theme, look and style. The vehicles in each are modular in the fact that they can be substituted by other vehicles that fit the theme in each gallery. This allows the museum to change the exhibits while still being true to its mission and collection focus. In addition to the automobile galleries, there are restored Auburn Automobile Company offices, design studios, an engine and technology gallery, an art gallery and a gallery dedicated to Gordon Buehrig and the process of design.
