(AUBURN) – The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum is excited to announce that Jon Bill, curator, is a Hoosier Hospitality Award winner. Through the Indiana Office of Tourism Development and Honest to Goodness Indiana, the Hoosier Hospitality Awards is put on by the Lt. Governor’s office.
Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Tourism Development honored Jon Bill, curator, at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Auburn, Indiana, (DeKalb County) on Friday, August 17 during the Hoosier Hospitality Awards ceremony in Indianapolis, IN.
Jon Bill has a passion and a thorough understanding not only of classic cars, but the priceless stories that accompany them. Through his education, he's able to present the history of the Auburn Automobile Company and Duesenberg, Inc. in such a way that brings the stories alive. Visitors leave with a sense of the significance and elegance that the cars represent and how they have shaped the community decades later. Jon has also written several books highlighting the photography of the classic automobiles showcased inside the museum. Jon graciously conducts special tours, and even hosted extraordinary guests, such as Dan Aykroyd and Jay Leno.
The award announcement was part of the Lt. Governor’s annual Hoosier Hospitality Awards at the Indiana State Fair.
The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum – where the world’s finest cars of yesterday live today!
